You'll Have To Forgive Me...

For the past week, I've felt really run down. I'm not alone; my wife and kids have fought off the same fatigue, sore throat, earaches and cough. Sickness is truly irritating. I'm sure that's why the enemy loves it.

Tonight marked the parent/youth night at our church. After a meal together, the youth pastors and parents got together in the youth center to discuss the next years' goals for the kids, while the kids and other leadership participated in fellowship in the auditorium. Trips, missions and camps are on the horizon for 2011. All of which are designed to help our children develop their own relationship with Jesus Christ, while serving others.

Awesome.

On the spiritual front, I have to share that my wife's paycheck this week was more than we'd expected. After a couple of weeks of really beginning to doubt that the Lord would come through for us financially, it would appear he's beginning to turn things around. We were able to pick up a few groceries and fill up the truck with some gasoline. We'll also be able to pay for my daughter's horse riding lesson tomorrow evening. I can't wait to see how He comes through as the month draws to a close and we continue to need his provision.

"May the Lord bless you and keep you. May he heal and protect you as you sleep tonight. Amen."

Good Night
