300 Days of Walking!

We've rounded another corner in the year long journey through the daily life of this Christian. Here's to another two months' worth of blogging! Let's finish this year strong!

To those of you who read my ramblings: a humble thank you. Thank you for your feedback, kind words and comments. It's my hope that an honest look into a person's life can perhaps reveal things in your life as well. Maybe you're not experiencing the ups and down that we have been, but I'm certain there have been topics that have surfaced which have resonated somewhere.

The Christian life on this earth isn't always easy to "walk out" (pun intended) much of the time. But being transformed each day into the likeness of Jesus Christ is the key to truly living. As long as you keep your heart in check, remain humble and keep your sights fixed on Christ, you'll make it through anything.

Earl Nightingale once said "Success is the progressive realization of a worthy goal or ideal.", and I think that's a perfect description of emulating the life of Jesus. It also dovetails nicely into Colossians 3:

1Since, then, you have been raised with Christ, set your hearts on things above, where Christ is seated at the right hand of God. 2Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things. 3For you died, and your life is now hidden with Christ in God.

Keep reading your Bible. If you can't, or don't wish to read, listen to it. Plug in to a Bible-based church that shares the good news, and pray that the Holy Spirit would help guide you into a real and personal relationship with Jesus. God bless you!

Good Night
