I know, I know. I've said this several times before, but I mean it. We need to often pause and take stock of our lives and remember to thank God for all things. Remember, the fact that even the air in our lungs is not our own, but a gift from God is something to be thankful for.
"Lord, I would like to give thanks to you for all of the things in my life, both good and bad. I thank you for the loving family that you've blessed me with and the friends who walk this journey with me. I thank you for the good times; these produce the laugh lines that I wear with pride on my face. I also give thanks for the bad times, as these moments build character and hope. I know that you have your hand upon my life, in the areas I understand, as well as in ways I cannot comprehend. Thank you, Lord, for everything you've done and for everything you're about to do. Amen."
Romans 5:3-5 (English Standard Version)
3More than that, we rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that suffering produces endurance, 4and endurance produces character, and character produces hope, 5and hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who has been given to us.
Good Night
