Lazy Day

There isn't much in terms of biblical wisdom or insight to talk about tonight, but I did want to share a couple of small things. First, it was a very nice day today, and I didn't do anything special around the house or out in the world at all!

This morning was met with an unexpected hours long Facebook chat session-turned-troubleshooting-turned-iChat session with my mother. It was great to talk with her and help with some technical issues she was experiencing with her laptop and wireless router. Things are in a good place now and she was able to walk around her house whilst chatting visually with me (Macs rule!). She loved catching up with the family and it was great for the kids to finally see their grandmother's house (she lives in another state).

Then it was dinner for the kids and a date night with my wife. We didn't eat the dinner we'd originally planned, nor were we able to rent the DVD we'd hoped for, but it was a great night nonetheless. That's about it. Nothing much more to share at this time, but it's days like this that I can sit back, take stock and see how incredibly blessed I am. Thank you for the reminder, Jesus!

Good Night
