On our trip back home this weekend, we were guided by the GPS in my smart-phone. We knew the basic heading we wanted to take, but were dependent on the turn by turn directions to get us through the journey. We couldn't see the whole picture at the time and we ended up making a stupid turn in downtown Tillamook that we never needed to take.
Life can be like that, too. Due to personal choices, sin and free will, sometimes we can find ourselves doing things and going places we never intended to go. Factors outside of our control can also impact the route we take in this life. However, no matter the variable, if we set our focus on the Lord Jesus Christ, we'll end up where we need to go. Don't lose your spiritual orientation!
