Do you ever wonder if God has a sense of humor? In some churches, such a question may be shunned or discouraged. Some may think that the Lord is sedate, while others may believe that the Lord feels all of the same emotions we do, because we were made in his image.
I fall into the latter group.
If you look around in the world, you'll find traces of God's humor in many things; from the duck-billed platypus, to the strange sights of plants gone wrong, you can almost hear God laughing. It's good to laugh- it helps to heal the mind and soul.
God also expresses his sense of humor through his children. Tonight at dinner, there were several interesting and funny tales shared. Hanging out with my wife and our friend afterward brought some pretty decent laughs as well; some of which were on the "racy" side.
Does God have a sense of humor? You bet He does.
