It's been a long week, in spite of the truncated work week due to the 4th of July. State agencies including ours actually closed on the 5th in observance of the Federal Holiday. Although it was only four days long, this week was fortified with enough energy to fill 2 normal weeks. I'm so very thankful that it's over.
A weekend break is nigh.
It's in times of trouble, when the bottom has fallen out that we need to take stock of the situation from a Godly perspective. If He brings you to something, He'll bring you through it as well. Stay strong and don't lose heart!
Romans 5:3-5 (New International Version)
Not only so, but we also rejoice in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope. And hope does not disappoint us, because God has poured out his love into our hearts by the Holy Spirit, whom he has given us.
James 1:2-4 (New International Version)
Consider it pure joy, my brothers, whenever you face trials of many kinds, 3because you know that the testing of your faith develops perseverance. Perseverance must finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything.
Good Night
