I was listening to a podcast from the Daily Audio Bible today during my commute. 2 Kings was on tap and tucked in between the 13th and 14th chapters was a couple of verses which stuck out in my mind.
2 Kings 13:20-21
Elisha died, and they buried him. Bands of the Moabites invaded the land in the spring of the next year.
As a man was being buried, such a band was seen coming; and the man was cast into Elisha's grave. And when the man being let down touched the bones of Elisha, he revived and stood on his feet.
Who was this man?
What was the rest of his story?
It was just really neat to me that the bones of Elisha were so blessed- to the point that even mere contact with them sparked the renewal of life. That's God's favor!
Just a neat nugget of the Old Testament I wanted to share...
Good Night
