Among all of the books, chapters and verses in the DailyAudioBible podcast today, this little proverb jumped out at me.
Proverbs 14:12 (New International Version)
There is a way that seems right to a man, but in the end it leads to death.
Many, many times in my life, I've made decisions that seemed right at the time. Later, hindsight revealed how foolish and harmful those decisions were. Not every choice I made was a failure, but I've had more than my share.
Oh how I want to rely on the Lord for His wisdom!
Proverbs 8:10-11 (New International Version)
Choose my instruction instead of silver, knowledge rather than choice gold, for wisdom is more precious than rubies, and nothing you desire can compare with her.
Good Night
