He Knows What We Need (And When We Need It)

It's late, so I won't be too long-winded tonight.

For weeks now, my wife and I have wanted to attend a financial peace seminar (a course that is 14 weeks long) that our church is currently hosting, but we didn't know how we were going to be able to afford it. After meeting with one of our pastors last night, he urged that we try to attend the class, if at all possible. Clearly God was telling us that this was something we needed to do.

My wife began emailing the class instructor this morning, to discuss the possibility of attending the class. We didn't know if it was going to be allowed; we were 2 weeks into the class, we didn't know if there was going to be room, and we surely didn't have an answer to how it was going to be paid for.

God met us where we are.

The instructor emailed my wife, indicating that there was an extra book/set of curriculum- and that they were wondering who it would be, that would step in and take possession of it! The finances are being dealt with on our terms, and we'll have access to the lessons this week. In this way, we'll be up to speed for next week's meeting, and will step through the remaining 11 weeks with the rest of the group.

"Thank you, Lord. It's obvious that you know our thoughts, and indeed answer our prayers. Thanks for always showing up in the right place, at the right time. Amen"

Good Night
