Slow Progress
I had to stay home from work today because my daughter was in bed with a fever and a cough that wouldn't stop. After taking care of her needs, I began what would amount to a variety of domestic duties around the house. This occupied the hours between 8:00 AM and about 3:00 PM. After that, I made a dent in one of the volunteering computer projects for the church. This task lasted for a few hours tonight, having been broken up by a family dinner of Taco Soup.
Now that chores are finished, lunches are packed and the kids are in bed, I'm at a decent stopping place. It's time to wind down for the evening. Thankfully, it feels as though something was accomplished today. It's an answer to prayer- progress, even if just a small amount was made. One successful day at a time is all it takes. I'm very thankful.
Good Night

A little progress is all we need sometimes. Lately I'm happy with moments when I keep breathing and am able to stand up straight. Somedays that alone is all the progress I need :)
